Reformer Pilates
Using resistance in the form of springs, the Reformer will both challenge and support you, offer you assistance and resistance, give you feedback and help to adjust alignment.
The reformer is excellent for a full body workout, as well as targeted exercises for injury recovery or prevention & pre & post op strengthening and mobility.
Mat Pilates
Just you against gravity, tailored to your body and your goals. The mat offers a different challenge to the reformer, will build your coordination and control, your flow and your stamina. Sometimes small equipment is added to the session, to give a new dimension and connection to the exercises.

All private sessions are held in Guro's studio in Hitchin, Hertfordshire, which houses both mat and reformer equipment. Sessions are in-person only — the personal nature of 1-to-1 work means Guro needs to see and respond to your body directly.

Each session is 55 minutes — long enough to work deeply and make real progress, without leaving you exhausted. Guro will use a combination of mat and reformer work depending on your goals and what your body needs that day.

Absolutely. The reformer is actually ideal for beginners because the springs provide both support and feedback — it helps you find the right position and understand the movements before progressing. Guro will guide you through everything from scratch.

Yes — pre and post-operative rehabilitation is one of the areas Guro specialises in. She'll work closely with any guidance from your surgeon or physiotherapist and build a programme that supports your recovery at every stage. If you're unsure, get in touch before booking and she'll advise honestly.

Yes — 2-to-1 sessions are available and popular. You each get the same tailored attention and the cost is shared between you. Get in touch to discuss availability.
