The Story behind Hyggeleg
Back in September 2020, when we were finally welcoming clients back into the studio after the first lockdown, we had to have good ventilation and had to keep doors and windows open whenever possible. As a result, the studio was always cool.
I have a condition called Raynaud's, where my hands and feet get cold very quickly. I found a pair of leg warmers that my mum had knitted i the 80’s, at the height of Flashdance and Fame. I put them on, and found that just covering up my ankles helped immensly. I could even keep my feet bare as long as my ankles were warm. People started asking me about my leg warmers, and I realised it might not just be me who enjoyed channeling their inner Jennifer Beale.
I teamed up with a client who loves knitting, and Hyggeleg was born. In the times of hoem working, we also realised there was a great benefit in keeping wirsts warm whilst trying to keep the heating down and the typing up, so lwristwarmers were added to the collection. Have a look around, and if you would like to put in a presonal order, please do get in touch.
